OCTOBER 6, 2009
The regular monthly meeting of the Stubbs Town Board was held at the
Town Hall on Monday, October 6, 2009 at 7 p.m.  All members were
present.
The Pledge of Allegiance was given.
Minutes were approved on motion by Zak/Taylor. Financial Report was
approved on motion by Zak/Taylor.
Current bills were audited and ordered paid on motion by Zak/Taylor.
PUBLIC COMMENT:  £verett Bullis commented that the Admiralty flag had
been replaced and he thanked the Board. Taylor asked who writes the
Town Newsletter--it is written by Zak and edited by the other board
members.  Taylor took exception to the remar> in the la;:t issue '",ve
have lost no rights" and asked to have a copy eefore the next issue is
mailed.  The matter of changing meeting datss was discussed-Taylor
asked that we not have meetings on Labor Day.  Taylor mentioned that
someone had asked why the trucks do not use a wing for snowplowing. 
Dixon discussed this.
It was decided that 3 persons will be sufficient for the November 3
election board.
The assessor's bid of $3400 for 2010 by Larry Pedersen was accepted on
motion by Taylor/Zak.
The Board worked on a preliminairy budget for 2010.. Motion by
Zak/Taylor to present the proposed budget at the Budget
Hearing in November "as packed.
SECOND PUBLIC COMMENT: Irene Urmanski asked to have a new fire sign.
Dixon mentioned that our cell phones have been transferred from Alltel
to Verizon.
Next Board meeting including the Budget Hearing will be held on
November 2, at 7 p.m.
Motion to adjourn at 7:55 by Zak/Taylor passed.
