October 6, 2008 The regular monthly meeting of Stubbs Town Board was held on Monday, October 6, 2008 at 7 p.m. at the Town Hall. All members were present. Minutes were approved on motion by Lieffring/Zak. Financial Report was approved on motion by Zak/Lieffring. Current bills were audited and ordered paid on motion by lieffring/Zak. There was no public comment. Dan Ru iter presented a rquest for a conditional use permit for a 40' x 72' storage shed to be erected on River Road. Motion by Zak/Lieffring to approve the permit passed. Dixon reported the Rusk Co. Forestry Dept. plans to build new bathrooms at the Amacoy boat landing. - They are requesting that Stubbs donate $2,000 to the project. Motion by Zak/ Lieffring to approve the $2,000 passed, with the money to be paid when the project is finished. Highway projects were briefly discussed. Work for 2008 is mostly finished and next year's projects are indefinite at this time. The board completed a proposed budget to be present**^ ,at the public Budget Hearing on November 3, 2008 prior to the regular board meeting. There was' discussion on the possibility of developing a picnic area at the Amacoy tubes location. Election will be held on November 4, 2008. Motion by Lieffring/ Zak to authorize 7 people for the board passed. The Board also decided to purchase food to be brought in for the election board that day. Next meeting will be held November 3, 2008 at 7 p.m. Motion to adjourn by Lief f ring/Zak at 7:40 passed. . • •**$%*,
