MARCH 3, 2008 The regular monthly meeting of Stubbs Town Board was held on Monday, March 3, 2008 at 7 p.m. at the Town Hall. All members were present. Minutes were approved on motion by Lieffring/Zak. Financial Report was approved on motion by Zak/Lieffring. Current bills were audited and ordered paid on motion by Zak/Lieffring. Motion was made by Dixon/Lieffring to donate $50 to the Kinship organization in lieu of sponsoring a booth at their fund raiser. There was no public comment. Art Dixon suggested that the town workers should receive a 5% pay increase retroactive to Jan. 1, 2008--the last pay increase was two years ago. Recycling attendants whould receive a $1 per hour raise since they now collect for the landfill on Saturdays. Motion by Zak/Lieffring to give these raises was passed. Comments were made on Craig and Kerry Stevens promptness in plowing roads this snowy winter. Dixon presented information from Alltel on cell phones for the trucks and grader. Motion made by Zak/Lieffring to purchase phones was passed. It was mentioned that cards have been sent out by the landfill for use at the recycling center. If anyone does not have their card they will be asked for their drivers license. Spring election will be held on April 1 with 5 persons on the Board. Annual meeting will be held on April 8 at 8 p.m. Next meeting will be on April 7 at 7 p.m.
