Jan.2,2012 The regular meeting of the Stubbs Town Board was held on Monday,Jan.2,2012at the Town Hall.All members were present. The Pledge of Allegiance was given. Minutes were approved by motion of Zak/Taylor. The financial report by motion of Zak/Taylor. Current bills were audited and ordered paid by motion of Zak/Taylor. Public Input: Lynn Tomczak mentioned the assessment on Greg Tomczak's property and was advised to contact the new assessor to get it adjusted. There was discussion of availability of salted sand when the town needs it. Zak mentioned getting sand from Weyerhaeuser, but there is a problem with loading it.--the best solution seems to be having our own salt shed. Taylor discussed some complaints and questions concerning highway policies. He asked whether employees need to wear florescent vests---only those actually on the road need vests, the vehicle drivers do not.. He discussed the need for barricades and signs on road projects--- the town has always used signs on road projects. Road inspections were discussed. It was concluded that persons with complaints should contact the board directly or come to the meetings. The Board audited the town books and found them in order and were approved by motion of Zak/Taylor. The next meeting will be held Wednesday, Feb.1, 2012 at 7 pm. Motion to adjourn by Zak /Taylot.
