DECEMBER 7, 2009 The regular monthly meeting of Stubbs Town Board was held at the Town Hall on Monday, December 7, 2009 at 7 p.m. All members were present. The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance. Minutes were approved on motion by Zak/Taylor. Financial Report was approved on motion by Taylor/Zak. Current bills were audited and ordered paid on motion by Zak/Taylor. PUBLIC COMMENT: David Wierzba presented a reort from MSA of several services rendered for which they did not bin us. Compensation of town employees was discussed. Motion was made by Zak/Taylor to increase wages by 5% effective Jan. 1, 2010. The Board appointed the following persons to the election board for 2010 and 2011: Lynne Wierzba, Louise Stevens, Lynne Tomczyk, Gert Bonczyk, Judy Anderson, Pat Stine, Loretta Czyscon, Roberta Bogusch, and Susanne Hopkins. The Chairman discussed the Wis. Dept. of Revenue plan to place Assessment and Board of Review on a County basis rather than local municipalities. PUBLIC COMMENT: Taylor mentioned that the Dept. of Rev. has denied Irene Urmanski's appeal of her assessment. He also discussed a proposed raise in the County tax assessment of 3%. The Chairman reported submitting the annual road report and boundary report to the St. of Wis. The Chairman reminded the Board members of the towns Ass'n Dist. meeting to be held at Cumberland on Feb. 6, 2010. Everett Bullis requested that the Town consider placing lights on two dark streets in Apollonia. The Chairman said he will look into this and see that lights are installed. Next meeting will be held on Monday, Jan. 4, 2010 and will include Board of Audit. Motion to adjourn at 7:45 by Zak/Taylor passed.
